The Governess Affair (Brothers Sinister, #0.5)

The Governess Affair (Brothers Sinister, #0.5) - Courtney Milan This was such a beautiful story and I enjoyed it from the beginning. The writing style was captivating, the dialogue was perfect, every single one of the characters were both complex and entertaining. Milan managed to keep me reading till I finished it and I ended up with a smile in my pretty face.Hugo and Serena's mailing was one of the most funny things of this book:Before she could lose her nerve, Serena made a fist and delivered an extremely rude gesture. He stood at the window, stock-still, before turning away. She received his note not two minutes later. She opened it, her heart pounding. But there were only two words on the paper.'Marry me.'And the hot scene was very well written. Hugo's tragic past and genuine heart made this love story work so well. Serena was very smart and strong and even with all she had been trough, she still knew what she wanted. Even more, she had the will to make that happen. I'm not very fond of historical fiction, but this was definitely worthy. I'll probably read [b:The Duchess War|13489919|The Duchess War (Brothers Sinister, #1)|Courtney Milan|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1363009176s/13489919.jpg|19028791] anytime soon.
